The Einhell CC-BC 2 M charger is an intelligent, microprocessor-controlled charger for the most diverse types of vehicle batteries. Adapted to the high-performance and technically advanced batteries of today's vehicles, the charger is equipped with a series of technical protection and maintenance systems. When developing this charger, emphasis was placed on charging speed and protection, with a view to as long a life as possible at maximum performance. The use of the battery charger is facilitated by a detailed charge indicator, less complicated than with common devices. The all-rounder from Einhell is suitable for gel batteries, AGM batteries and maintenance-free and low-maintenance lead-acid batteries. The CE-BC 2 M automatically adapts to the 12 V on-board voltage of the vehicles and the multi-stage charging cycle of the Einhell charger is monitored and regulated automatically by the microprocessor control. The intelligent electronic management system analyzes the connected battery and, depending on the status detected, initiates the necessary actions. The trickle charge function protects the battery and preserves it for a long time, maintaining an optimal charge level in the long term. The CE-BC 2 M is therefore particularly suitable for seasonal use vehicles subject to long periods of inactivity: instead of allowing the battery to be completely discharged with the consequent risk of deep discharge, the battery charge is kept at its level optimum by means of a trickle charge. This arrangement extends the useful life and avoids having to replace a damaged battery and the related costs. Cars, motorbikes and motorcycles are ready for use right away when the season arrives. A winter charging mode has been specially developed for outside temperatures below 5 °C. An automatic overload, short-circuit and reverse polarity protection protects both the charger and the battery. The Einhell charger complies with the IP 65 degree of protection, i.e. it is dust- and splash-proof. The LED battery voltage and charging progress display visually shows the current battery charge status and the mode set in the charger. The device differentiates between the charge levels 25 percent, 50 percent, 75 percent and 100 percent, 12 V charging and "winter mode". A warning light immediately draws the user's attention in the event of a problem. Thanks to the fully insulated battery terminals, the Einhell charger can be connected easily and safely. The frame is equipped with a hook that allows you to hang the battery charger on the wall.
